Client focus: January 2022 wellbeing plan for Man Bites Dog

To fully embrace their wellbeing journey into 2022, I have put together a Pilates At Your Desk programme for Man Bites Dog that promises to keep everyone feeling great in body and mind. The idea being that accountability and regular lessons will lead to more movement and new movement habits!

This involves a combination of workshops and access to the Move At Your Desk membership for daily movement.

Here is what we are doing over the 4 week period:

PAYD SESSION 1 (30 mins): General feel-good moves for the whole body. Kick-off the session with writing down a goal for the month. Introduce the accountability chart where each person ticks off completing a Move At Your Desk video each day.

PAYD SESSION 2 (30 MINS): Plank At Your Desk, a series of strengthening movements you can do while you work. Check in on how people are doing in terms of Move At Your Desk.

PAYD SESSION 3 (30 MINS): Bend At Your Desk, a series of flexibility movements you can do while you work. Check in on how people are doing in terms of Move At Your Desk.

PAYD SESSION 4 (1 HOUR): Align At Your Desk, a focus on posture and movements to improve posture. Check in on goals to see whether employees have met their goals for the month. Discuss how the accountability chart went and celebrate any additional movement that was done as part of this! Followed by setting realistic movement goals for going forward as well as a chance to ask questions. Finish with 10 minutes of feel good movements to celebrate.

I have worked with Man Bites Dog on a few occassions now and as a team they are brilliant! Lots of smiling faces and genuinely happy to be moving! So I can’t wait to embark on this journey with them.
