Valencia
During the Easter Holidays this year I visited Russafa, Valencia with my daughter and husband. Russafa is a very cool area adorned with independent shops, coffee spots and great restaurants. Lots of opportunities to wander, taking in all the brightly coloured buildings and finding new coves to explore!
Eating was high on the agenda because Valencia is full of amazing restaurants (Bluebell Coffee for brunch, Fierro, El Rodamon de Russafa, LβAlquimista, La Chingada, to name a few) as was MOVING! Meandering through Russafa treating ourselves to coffee from Franβs Cafe, visiting the many charity shops finding treasures, dancing to house music at Mat32bar, wandering through Turia Garden (which smells divine with all the orange blossom at this time of year), swimming in the sea, and lots of cycling!
As an aside, a really lovely thing about Valencia is just how cheery people seem. Smiling as they move in fact! Just what I love to see.
We stayed at Yours Hotel which is a super stylish boutique hotel with great breakfast and comfy beds! Highly recommend this place too.
As a whole we had an amazing time and I would highly recommend Russafa in Valencia as a destination for a get away!
