Lisbon

Before Christmas I went on a mini break with friends to Lisbon eating, vintage shopping and exploring the colourful city.

Wandering around is just wonderful - so much to take in. I highly recomemend a stroll along the river, a visit to the Principe Real area and a walk around the botanical gardens too.

For food I would highly recommend: Time Out Lisboa, Prado Restaurante, Bairro do Avillez, Tascardoso and Taberna da Rua das Flores. We also enjoyed having drinks at Vintage Lisbon.

LX Factory is amazing for shopping and eating too. A firm favourite for me on the shopping front being Rozza (a vintage clothing shop!).

We took a Love Lisboa Tuk Tuk Tour which I would highly recommend - perhaps instead of Tram 28 which was more crowded in comparison.

It was the perfect destination for a mini break and I would love to return to visit many of the gorgeous cathedrals, museums and churches that we didn’t have the chance to visit this time!
